Coaches Corner

When it comes to fitness, whether you’ve been active in the past or you’re stepping into a gym for the first time, remember this:

As we get older, physical fitness becomes more and more important. It sets us in a better direction for the rest of our lives and profoundly affects our health and longevity.

If you’ve spent your youth being physically inactive and not taking care of yourself, don’t worry, there’s still time to establish proper habits, build muscle, lose fat and feel better.

And I get it, as we get older, balancing working out with family, friends, and work is a challenge. But is there anything worth having that comes easy?

And considering the fact that our bodies start giving us signs of aging such as a decreased work capacity and slowing down of metabolism, it’s very important to approach fitness in the right way.

Look, young guys can get away with doing dumb shit in the gym. They can recover better and have more energy. But, as we age, we need tailored programs that allow us to build muscle, lose fat, and get stronger while keeping us energized and injury-free.

This is where 1 on 1 personal training with a knowledgeable coach comes in place. You need someone who understands your needs and knows how to build you a proper program that accounts for injury history, work capacity, body weight, and more.

Your coach will also show you how to perform various exercises, teach you practical programming and give you a direction for better nutrition.

Aside from that, taking part of a group class is another excellent addition to your training. You’re training among other like-minded individuals that push you to do your best.

The group classes are fun, engaging, and challenging. Each session takes at most an hour to complete, which is perfect for people looking to maximize their results, make some awesome friends and not have to live in the gym.

That’s why we offer Hybrid memberships – to truly care for our clients. You need both: the 1 on 1s for accountability and personalized instruction AND group classes to have fun with your friends.
