I’ve been part of IronFire since 2014. The trainers provide a well-rounded program building strength, cardio, gymnastics, and flexibility into each workout. The emphasis is on doing movements with good form and scaling the weight or movement is always an option with each workout. The gym builds community and the owners and trainers encourage personal improvement for each athlete. Great way to start each morning!
I’ve been going to IronFire for over 2 years, and still love it as much as when I started. With help and programming from the and coaches/owners Jason and Alfia, I worked through an ACL injury, and am now stronger than before. All workouts are scalable to your ability and fitness level. But more important than even the great workouts is the community of people that work and work out here. Everyone supports, encourages, and challenges each other, regardless of skill level. They all know each other by name, you are not just another anonymous person at the gym. Love IronFire!
I joined IronFire after moving to San Diego almost 3 years ago. Having done functional fitness in the past, in my neighbors garage, I felt I knew what to expect. However, the community of trainers and fellow athletes here far exceeded my expectations! Not only do they cultivate a great peer community of support and friendly competition, but I’ve also learned MANY new techniques and honed countless others every week! IronFire is my fitness home, and I recommend them highly!
I started my journey at IronFire in October of 2012 and never turned back since. In 2012, I was in constant lower back and hip pain. Of course I was super scared too, but I was ready to try something different and was hopeful it would help with my back and hip issues. So fast forward to December 2017…. I have accomplished many personal records (PRs), competed in a few competitions and a powerlifting competition. All of which I never once imagined I would ever be able to do. OH…. I can do a handstand and other movements I would have never imagined too! If you are looking for a gym that truly cares about you, your safety, movement and your goals then IronFire is the gym for you. If you are unable to do a specific movement then there is always a scaling option. The program is good for anyone at any age. Both my children, ages 10 and 8 also do it and absolutely love it. Jason and Alfia are amazing owners and coaches and know how to help you reach your goals and get you very strong.
I love this gym. The trainers really care about your experience and your development as an athlete. Other members offer advice and suggestions. Feeling comfortable is important to me. Especially as an older woman.
IronFire has given me the confidence physically and mentally to be a stronger individual.

Been here for a year now and have experienced great results. The trainers here are super helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been able to improve in all my lifts and getting back on track, highly recommend!
I started at IronFire in January of 2011 at age 53, although I have been a runner and mountain biker for 20 years I had no upper body strength. IronFire changed all that. By building up my muscle strength in the upper body, the soreness in my right shoulder has gone away. My favorite part of IronFire is that the workouts change daily. Jason is great and the other people in the classes are very friendly. You never get tired of people telling you how in shape you look!
